My Reveal-Bead Soup Blog Party

Let me remind you of all the wonderful items I received from my partner Joyce!

Here is a picture of some other items she sent!

And finally what I made!

The Bracelet: I love the color of these vintage beads because they go so well with the turquoise spacers and the brass beads. Also Joyce did such a beautiful job with the patina she put on the heart.

The earrings which I mixed the metals to have brass and copper. The picture doesn't quite do the patina justice because the blues and greens are just beautiful!

And finally the necklace. I placed the beautiful clasp that Joyce hand wired with the bead mix to the side because I really wanted to showcase it as well as the fabulous Vintaj focal piece she did. I added some copper chain that just goes partially around the necklace. I drilled a hole in the bottom because these yellow rondeles she sent are just so pretty.

Joyce also sent me this lovely button she had and a silver clasp(you can see both in the picture). I am already working on something else and will post when I am finished.

2nd Reveal Bead Soup Blog Party

I have been super busy!! Had a booth in Art in the Redwoods in Gualala, CA this past weekend. Crowds were lower than last year but we had a bright sunny weekend. I am a little behind on posting the second bead soup reveal so please visit all these wonderful artists and get ready for my partner Joyce Becker's and my reveal on August 25th. I have all my items finished and I am so excited to have you see them. Had such a good time creating these three great pieces. Have the Studio Discovery Tour the next two weekends in my studio. Have been working diligently on my Bead Soup creation. I have a necklace and a bracelet finished and am working on the earrings. My partner Joyce Becker and I will reveal on August 25th.
