2nd Reveal Bead Soup Blog Party

I have been super busy!! Had a booth in Art in the Redwoods in Gualala, CA this past weekend.  Crowds were lower than last year but we had a bright sunny weekend.  I am a little behind on posting the second bead soup reveal so please visit all these wonderful artists and get ready for my partner Joyce Becker's and my reveal on August 25th.  I have all my items finished and I am so excited to have you see them.  Had such a good time creating these three great pieces.  Have the Studio Discovery Tour the next two weekends in my studio.  I am participating as well as being the Director!  So come back next weekend but in the meantime enjoy!

I get to see my great nephew Levi today.  This picture is in my studio because it makes me laugh!  He is 5 months old, and I haven't seen him for a few months.  My neice and her family are visiting for a few days.
I have started working on my bead soup and I am so excited with the items Joyce sent me.  Just beautiful colors and different pieces.  I just love the clasp she made.  Well gotta run and get busy.

Happy 4th of July!

I finally got my pictures sized for the Bead Soup Party Blog.  Here is what my partner sent me.  Just so many amazing items.  She hand patina the focal and these cute dangles. The bead choices she sent really made my creativity go wild!  I am working on my design already.  Thanks Joyce!

She also sent me some additional goodies!  So I am going to be creating some wonderful pieces.  I could barely get everything in one picture.


This is what I sent Joyce.  The first one is what I sent for her to use for the party and the second one is just because we had an instant connection and I wanted her to have an extra package.

Well that weekend sure goes by fast!  I did get lots of stuff done just not any jewelry made yet.  Did get my partner's package on Saturday and boy is it filled with goodies!!  I can't wait to show you.
In the meantime I have to get busy because I am in two galleries and I have two shows in August.  One of them is at Art in the Redwoods and doing a open studio tour at my studio on labor Day weekend and the weekend before.

One of my latest designs in fused glass!  What do you think?  I love these pendants and they are lots of fun to do just a lot of hours.  I have just taken lots of pictures to add to my website that will be back online by the 15th of July....stay tuned for more
